Wispy is ChatWisp's built-in AI assistant for building forms. Think of her as an expert survey designer sitting next to you who can do the work as you talk. She is the same intelligent agent who later helps you analyze results.
How to work with Wispy
Wispy lives in a drawer you can collapse, dock to the side, or expand to fullscreen. You choose how to interact:
- Voice — she speaks and listens; talk hands-free, interrupt her mid-sentence, and watch the form change live.
- Chat — type instead of talk (the default).
- Quiet — Wispy stays out of the way until you tap "Ask Wispy" for help.
What Wispy can do
- Interview you, then build. She asks sharp qualifying questions and assembles the form on the canvas while explaining her choices. You can literally talk a form into existence.
- Generate from a brief. "Build me a post-event feedback survey for a music festival" produces a complete draft.
- Improve existing forms. "Make this more conversational," "add follow-ups for low scores," or "shorten this."
- Read your documents. Drop in a PDF, Word document, spreadsheet, or plain-text / Markdown file and Wispy turns it into a ChatWisp form.
- Show you exactly what will change. Edits arrive as a reviewable diff with one-click Undo — so experimenting is safe.
- Preview questions as you build. When she adds a question, she shows the actual respondent control right in the chat.
- Apply changes by voice. Say "yes" to accept, "no" to discard, or "undo" to revert.
- Run a health check. She flags leading or double-barreled questions, forms that are too long, and missing follow-ups.
- Let you test-drive it. Ask to "test as a respondent" and she runs the real conversation engine.
Power shortcuts when typing
- Type / for quick commands like /improve, /test, /health, or /publish.
- Type # to point at a specific question (for example, "#2 make this more specific").
- Type @ to pull up a persona, a voice, or a conversation style by name.
The value
Wispy collapses the gap between "I know what I want to learn" and "I have a polished, well-designed form." She is especially powerful if you are not a survey expert — she brings the expertise.
