ChatWisp gives you precise control over when and how many responses you collect.
Set a cap on responses
When you share a form, you can optionally set a maximum number of responses. Once that many completed submissions arrive, ChatWisp automatically closes the form and shows respondents a friendly "we are no longer accepting responses" message. Handy for contests, limited studies, or first-come-first-served signups.
Expiration dates
Set an automatic expiration time and your form closes itself. ChatWisp offers quick presets like "in 1 week" or "at month-end," or pick a custom date and time. When the time arrives, respondents see the same warm closing message — no broken links.
Live progress toward your cap
The sharing area always shows your completed-response count in real time, with a progress indicator if you set a cap, so you can see how close you are to your limit.
Rotate your share token
Your form's link is backed by a share token. If you want to instantly revoke every link you have sent (maybe a link spread further than intended), click rotate the token. This retires all old links while keeping your form and its settings exactly the same. Your responses stay safe — this only affects distribution.
Closed vs published
When a form reaches a cap or expiration date, it moves to Closed status. Respondents see the closing message, but all your data and results remain available. You can reopen by raising the cap or extending the date, or archive the form to tuck it away.
