# Exporting your data (CSV & JSON)

Your data is always yours. ChatWisp gives you clean, standard export formats so your responses flow into whatever tools you already use — no lock-in, no proprietary formats.

## CSV export

Perfect for Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or any analysis tool. The CSV delivers **one row per response, one column per question**. For open-text questions you also get **separate verbatim columns** with the raw text. The export is **hardened against spreadsheet formula-injection**, so it is safe to open.

## JSON export

A **complete, structured export** with full fidelity for developers and data warehouses. It includes every answer, the AI's automated synthesis (themes, sentiment, suggested follow-ups), and the full conversation transcript — ideal for feeding into other systems, running custom analysis, or archiving.

## Quality decisions are yours

By default, exports reflect your quality decisions — [flagged responses](/knowledge-base/results/data-quality) are excluded based on your review. Before exporting, you can adjust the filter to include or exclude different quality levels, giving you total control over what leaves ChatWisp.
