Every ChatWisp form runs in one of two modes. You choose which when you create the form, and you can switch any time. Both share the same questions, results, and data export — the difference is purely the respondent experience.
AI Voice Forms — the signature experience
This is the conversational interview mode. The interviewer asks each respondent your questions one at a time, by voice or chat, with intelligent follow-ups, a personality you design, and branching that adapts to their answers.
Best for: customer feedback, in-depth research, testimonials, employee pulses, lead qualification — anything where the "why" matters as much as the numbers.
Respondents choose voice or chat when they start, answer by speaking, typing, or tapping, get smart follow-ups on interesting answers, and can switch modes any time mid-conversation.
Classic Forms — the traditional approach
A beautiful, fully themeable form with no AI, built to stand toe-to-toe with the best form apps. Questions are presented as normal fields, and you get a powerful design system.
- Four layouts: One page, One at a time (stepper), Spotlight (immersive full-screen), or Floating card.
- Style Studio: themes, typography, density, shape, background, and motion — all with a live preview.
- Optional voice dictation: even with no AI, respondents can tap a microphone to speak instead of type.
Best for: quick, familiar data collection; audiences who expect a traditional form; registrations and signups; or any time you want zero AI involvement.
